Welcome to home of the Grit City Health Dirt Team. We are an all inclusive, no pressure, tons of fun cycling team based out of Tacoma, Washington with riders all across the PNW. Our main focus of support is the MFG and CXR cyclocross series in the greater Seattle area. We set up a home base tent/compound at each race and have tons of cheering and race support ready to go. We do not invite or seek out riders but are welcoming to those who are interested and looking for a team to join. Our main requirement is “Don’t be a jerk!”

A bit of background… The team originally started as just me wanting a “cool jersey” since I owned my own business. Then my wife and kids wanted them too. After a year or two of riding and racing, I designed a new edition of the jersey and added bibs, jackets and casual accessories. That is when friends of ours also wanted to put in a kit order and represent GCH. Now a few years into having riders other than myself and family, we have about 14 riders of various levels and commitment at the CX races and various riders at other events throughout the year.
I designed the jerseys around a black tree-line on the bottom. This was for one reason. I wanted the jersey to look good with any black bottoms. I wanted anyone with any level of riding ability or experience to be able to feel like a team member no matter their ability to purchase a ton of cycling gear that might be outside of their comfort level. We do offer quite the extensive line of gear from Verge Sport and can get you info on the three different color schemes if you would like to find something that works for you.
